Summer at the Øresund Aquarium
It’s summer now, and we’ve really turned up the summer vibe! Get ready for a holiday packed with fun, educational and exciting adventures for the whole family - both on land and at sea.
Join us for crab fishing on the harbour piers, shrimp fishing in Kronborg Bay, or help catch crabs and feed the fish in our Water Laboratory. You can visit the aquarium’s exhibition and learn all about the Øresund’s unique animal and plant life as we feed the animals in selected tanks every hour. You can also have the experience of a lifetime on one of our sea safaris on the Øresund.
Every hour – feeding time at the aquarium
Look forward to exciting feeding sessions in selected tanks, where our guides will share surprising fun facts and showcase the fascinating wildlife of the Øresund. The first feeding session starts at 11am at our touch pool – here you can get involved and help feed the animals!
Crab hunting
Let the children and your inner adventurer run wild with crab hunting on the harbour piers, when we set off together every day at 11.15 am.
Shrimp fishing at Kronborg
Join us for some shrimp fishing on Kronborg Beach, where you’ll join our guides in catching shrimp and exploring the small creatures in the shallow water. All you need is your swimwear and a sense of curiosity. The activity takes place every day at 1.15 pm.
The Water Laboratory
If you haven’t had your fill of crabs, you can join our guides on a visit to the Water Laboratory. Here you can feed the fish and catch crabs, look beneath the surface with underwater binoculars and learn about the hidden life of the sea—up close!
You can visit the Water Laboratory with our guides every weekday throughout the summer at 12.15, 14.15 and 16.15.
The Water Laboratory is open to everyone 24 hours a day and requires no ticket. So if the times don’t suit you, grab your own crab trap and visit the Water Laboratory whenever it suits you.
Sea safari in a RIB boat
Fasten your life jacket and jump on board! On our sea safari trips, you’ll get up close to the Øresund’s unique wildlife – from porpoises and seals to the chance to see Atlantic bluefin tuna leaping out of the water. An unforgettable nature experience awaits.
