Whitsun holidays at the Øresund Aquarium

Over Whitsun, we’ve packed the days with fun and educational activities for the whole family. Come and join us for feeding sessions, visit the garfish in the water laboratory, or meet our new baby lumpfish.

Feeding at the aquarium

Every hour, you can watch feeding sessions in selected tanks. The aquarium’s guides will share fascinating stories about fish and other marine creatures from the Øresund.

Royal Run at the Water Laboratory

On Monday 25 May, the Royal Run comes to Elsinore.
Bring friends and family along for a day full of marine experiences – right in the middle of the Royal Run route!

As the Royal Run fills the area with cheers and high spirits, we invite you to a day packed with marine experiences for the whole family.

At the same time, the Øresund Aquarium will be open from 10am to 5pm, so you can combine the atmosphere of the race, the cheering crowds and the festivities with a dive into the fascinating world of the sea.

Activities at the water laboratory are free and require no booking.

A lively, educational and exciting experience – perfect as part of your Royal Run day for the whole family.

There will be road closures between 10:00 and 21:00.

Animal news

Over Easter, we had a visit from lumpfish, which laid lots of eggs.

The eggs have now hatched and tiny lumpfish fry have emerged. If you’d like to see the cute little fry, just ask one of our guides; they’ll show them to you as soon as they can.
