Ocean with David Attenborough (film)

Ocean with David Attenborough

A visual tribute to the sea with nature's own narrator.

Renowned presenter and film producer David Attenborough recounts some of the many exciting discoveries in the sea that have taken place during his lifetime. Attenborough uses spectacular scenes of coral reefs, kelp forests and the open sea to explain why a healthy marine environment ensures that the entire planet is stable and in balance. Breathtaking, captivating cinematography shows us some of the miracles that lie beneath the surface of the sea and explains the new realities and challenges facing our oceans, including destructive fishing practices and mass bleaching of coral reefs. However, the documentary is optimistic, and Attenborough uses inspiring stories from different parts of the world to convey his most important message: the sea can restore its balance and become even more amazing than we ever dreamed possible.
