Ascension Day holiday at the Øresund Aquarium
The Ascension Day holiday is just around the corner, and we have lots of fun and exciting activities planned. Take part in feeding the animals at the aquarium, visit the Water Laboratory, where you can feed the fish, catch crabs and learn lots more about the wildlife of the Øresund. Or take an Øresund quiz as you make your way through our exhibition.
Feeding the fish in the aquarium
Every hour, you can watch the fish being fed in selected aquariums. The aquarium's guides will share fun and exciting facts about fish and other sea creatures from the Øresund. The first feeding starts at 11 a.m. at our three-step touch pool. Here, you can help feed the animals yourself.

Summer is approaching, which means that our activities at the Water Laboratory are about to begin!
During the Ascension Day holiday, at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., you can join our guides at the Water Laboratory and help feed the animals, catch crabs and learn lots of exciting facts about the unique wildlife of the Øresund.

Practical information
We are open during the Ascension Day holiday from Thursday 29 May to Sunday 1 June from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is DKK 90 for adults, DKK 70 for children (aged 3-11) and free for children (aged 0-2). The aquarium is located approx. 10 minutes' walk from Helsingør station.
